Harry: "I Am Not An Addict!"

For weeks, rumours have been circulating that Harry has a very hard time keeping away from -- snow! Our reporter made a visit to put matters straight.

"An addict? Me? That's putting it harshly", Harry says when he greets us in his tastefully decorated kitchen. (This reporter immediately notices that the water and food bowls are placed very close to the freezer. A mere coincidence? You be the judge!")

"Of course, I'll have to admit that this -- what did you say it was called? -- yes, this snow, is very soft and nice to tread on. You must also consider that us terriers get very hot from spending a lot of time in all those nice couches, beds and baskets you humans insist on putting at our disposal. So, sure, every chance of a cooling-off break is welcome. But, aside from being a good surface for walkies, I am not in the least interested in snow!"

At this stage of the interview, this reporter produced the following picture and placed it on the floor in front of Harry:

Harry i snön 1

After some feeble attempts to claim that the photo must be a fake, alternately show a completely different Cairn terrier, Harry finally admits:

"Well, OK. Perhaps I occasionaly dip my nose in the snow. I can't see what's so strange about that. My nose belongs on the ground, and the ground happens to be beneath the snow. It's as simple as that. What? You think I enjoy walking around looking like that? Certainly not!"

But what about the long walks? Rumour has it it's very difficult to get you inside after going to the toilet. And that you spend so much time exhausting yourself with antics in the snow that you spend the rest of the day in the apartment, out like a light?

"Where do these preposterous allegations come from? It's simply ridiculous! I go out, I cool off my paws, I occasionally dip my nose -- well, OK, my entire head -- in the snow, and that's it! Quickly out, quickly in, that's my motto!"

At this point, Harry was given the opportunity to comment on the following photo:

"What do you want me to say? Sometimes, perhaps, it kind of drags out into a mile-long walk or so..."

It?

"...ME, if you must know! But they are really perfectly ordinary walks!"

But what about this photo?

Harry i snön 3

"Ehhrrm... I... It... IS rather enjoyable out in the snow, I must admit. Well, you have to seize the opportunity as long as it's out there for free! But I am anything BUT an addict, make that absolutely clear to your readers!"

We can only hope that this avalanche of rumours turn out to be nothing more than a snowball after all. Spring is around the corner, and doing rehab in a freezer is a fate we would not wish even on the hardiest of Saint Bernhards, let alone our Harry Potter!
