![]() There we were, a whole bunch of us in a small cage... Fact is, I'm not sure we clearly knew where one of us started and another one ended. (That's how I got the notch in my right ear, I guess.) This is *very* different... So much to learn! There's the Climby Thing, and the Spinning Thing, and the Sandy Thing -- And now there's only two of us! I'd better just sit here, wash my nose and calm down for a bit...
![]() This is brother Grenville, on his way down after having inspected the upstairs amenities. (We never had an upstairs before. It may take us weeks to figure out what to do with it!) Grenville really likes the Sandy Thing. He would hardly let me near it, after he already had kicked half the sand out of it -- into my face, I might add. Brothers!
The first night, we camped out in a corner, beneath the Spinning Thing. The next day, this nice house appeared in a corner of our new home. It must have dropped from the skies, as it was very awkwardly placed on top of the bedding. It didn't take us long to sink it down into the ground where it belongs, though. Grenville just loves to lie in the opening, eyes half closed, listening to the noises from outside. I think I heard the thing that brought us here talking outside the cage. He claims we are named after some author called PG Wodehouse. And now we live in one -- woodhouse, that is. Obviously, he think that's awfully funny. I wouldn't know -- I haven't gotten around to eating any of his books yet.
