This is Pelhamina, trying out the new HWD (Hamster Weighing Device, also known as kitchen scales). About 14 weeks old, She weighs in at a hefty 40-45 grams (about 1.5 oz.)

Note how calm and composed she looks - and she is. When the other hammies won't sit still for even two seconds, Pelhamina gladly gives you the time to read the scales AND take the picture before getting restless!

(At the time, Grenville was about 10 grams lighter. Since then, he has also put on some extra weight.)
